What platforms do you play the Witcher on?

I was thinking the other day how it was weird that CDPR made The Witcher games for Mac so now I'm curious how many Mac players we have out there? ›››
Not many. Almost everyone I know has a MAC notebook but none of them can run any recently released games. MAC hardware is overpriced. Also to run TW2 smoothly you need pretty expensive hardware iMAC worth 2000$+

I'd say there are more Linux users than Mac users in this forum.

PC does not equal Windows. Personal computers run many different operating systems, like GNU/Linux and, why not, Windows. PC games should be available for all major platforms. Let's not be handcuffed and tied to one vendor. Utilize standard, cross-platform technologies!

PC all the way here baby! Wooohooo!
Tearing my hair out, trying to figure out why there aren't any non-human Witchers, or at least something equivalent to a Witcher oriented warrior.

I don't fully understand the purpose of this poll. We KNOW most Witcher players use Windows, and a small minority use Mac OS X since CDPR released a Mac version of the game. Some people manage to run The Witcher on Linux through third-party software like Wine, but this is thanks to a huge community effort (Wine) and some degree of manual set up.
While I agree that Linux should be included in the list, I hope the results of this poll will not be used in any informal way by forum members or otherwise to justify the seemingly "irrelevant" minority of Linux users. It is unfair to be judged when there is NO version of The Witcher for Linux, and those who manage to play in there have done so through community work.

Since the poll concerns forum users it's not really representative globally anyway. I don't think anyone considers various Wither users as irrelevant. ›››
Well, define various. I never see the profit in anything because I think of other things, but it's true. Companies need profit and minorities are irrelevant if they are not profitable, at least marketing wise. What I don't want is this to become a pretext to say "there aren't enough Linux users that justify a Linux version of The Witcher".
This is just for fun, but you've seen the Linux threads before

I meant mostly the forum members, not CDPR. So far CDPR didn't show much interest in Linux users, except for the lucky fact that their games work with Wine at all (it's a big plus, and hopefully this won't be broken going forward if they won't release Linux versions).
Most forum members appreciate interest in the Witcher games no matter what OS they are used on. There are a few who have some strange negativity towards Linux, but I attribute it to entrenched MS monoculture which they are too used to.
Justifying / not justifying Linux version based the forum poll would be rather silly
So I wouldn't worry about that. Linux user base is way wider than those who visit this forum, so the poll won't indicate anything about potential interest and demand for Linux versions of the Witcher games, except for what it is - potential interest of the forum members.
