Ask PS3 owners who played it on their console. ;)
If you see a grammar mistake in my post, then I don't mind if you send me a notice about it via PM. I always want to improve my English grammar.

It's not about specs and features, it's rather how developers will use the tools they have available.

Looking at games that were shown at the event, I'm not very impressed so far. Different circus, same clowns.

I'm sure the main thing devs will be over the moon about, and exclusive-to-PC gamers is the 8GB's of GDDR5 RAM (My guessitmate is that 1 to 1.5GB will be reserved for OS). That's a mental amount for a console but it'll be a huge help in a few years down the line.

One thing we have to remember is we'll reach a point in gaming were graphics/fidelity, animation, AI etc will hit a brick due to costs. But everything I've seen has me giddy, especially dat RAM.

Can't understand why these so called PC gamers have a problem with TW2 coming up on xbox and not as a pc exclusiv, they just sound like spoiled brats, who most likely where looking for a pc exclusive to get back at console owners without a pc. Why should only pc/ps/xbox owners enjoy a certain game. I bought a ps3 a year ago so i could play its exclusives: uncharted, god of war, FF vs XIII witch hasn't been released as ps3 exclusive and so on. It sucks having to spend a lot of money to buy a console or a pc to play a game.

It's mostly because some people don't know what they're talking about and believe that their choices are the best and have no flaws, and everyone else is stupid for not liking what they like etc. etc.

The closest thing to a coherent argument they have is the claim that developing a game for both PC and consoles requires compromises that detract from the game experience on PC. They offer examples like the inventory screen in TW2 as proof of this.

Now, I'm not knocking the desirability of having well-functioning inventory screens, menus, things like that. But unless the game were actually written to include lines like

"[Geralt] No, Dethmold, I never did get around to reading those books you gave me. I just wasn't able to find them in my inventory screen."

the idea that an inventory screen that the player on PC imagines was developed for the console and not for him detracts in any meaningful way from the game is just carping.

There's also a lot of "let's get together and compare sizes" and "my iron is bigger than your iron" among PC players that console players are fortunately excluded from.

Shall during off hours exhibit his powers

I honestly don`t see the need for exclusives on any platform . It seems to me that by doing so you are excluding a part of your market share . I don`t own a console not that i have anything against them , in fact I don`t have anything against them , the more the merrier . I`m just more comfortable on a PC .

While I don't think it's bad for CDPR to release games on more platforms, I have something against consoles. Not the concept of gaming consoles in general which isn't bad per se, but the modern trend of locked up consoles which turn general purpose computers into appliances through DRM. This trend is bad by itself. And Sony specifically has a very bad reputation when it comes to DRM abuse.

To boost sales of consoles. They'll pay publishers money for exclusivity or i.e. Microsoft owns 343 Industries and that's automatic exclusivity. Anyways it tries to encourage owners of another console or pc to go buy that console and game. For example an Xbox owner may see the Uncharted or God of War series as super awesome and go buy a Ps3. And vice-versa with the xbox.

I don't want to support such console with extreme limitations. I know CDP will still stick with the PC version, like what they did with TW1 and TW2, and later they'll port their games to the consoles. I hope they see it that we support their PC edition, and NOT the console edition.

For the BC to be only in virtual market and to pay for the very same game you already have in the previous consoles and of course its retail edition or even collector.

For the Anti-used game market policy and for those who DO want the game, but they can't find it anywhere, but the virtual.

Worse, this console, which used to be a gaming rig, now is a multi-entertaining rig, and I don't like it. If I want any multi-entertaining rig or working rig, I have my PC.

I think the extreme limitation rumours are coming true one after another, and worse, they might sell it for $400 and above.

So I'll pass on it, just like I'll pass on Microsoft's console. I'm not that crazy to buy a console with extreme limitations and with crappy and unused softwares and hardwares. I'll stick solely on PC for TW3 and Cyberpunk.

One good piece of news I caught (can't remember the source right now, but it seemed valid) was that in an interview yesterday, Sony confirmed that there would NOT be any anti-used game policy, and that the recent patent had nothing to do with the PS4.

OK, one positive rumour down, and one negative down(due of BC policy on VM - Virtual Market).

Now, let's see the rest of the rumours if they can be truthful to their end or not.

Now that the ANti-used policy is banned from their side, I'm very interested to see if they'll make it a region-lock or not. This is something, which MUSTN'T happen. Nobody likes the region-lock system.
