We knew that was coming and it looks official now. I am happy to see PS4 confirming PC architecture, which should allow CDPR to easly develop TW3 and CP77 on both next gen consoles.

Nice catch.

I guess we'll have to wait for Microsoft to show us Xbox 720.
Then we'll get some footage, uhm?

Still waiting for their Linux support. If they support Sony's system (is it called CellOS still?) and Mac OSX now, it means their engine is generic enough already.

Yeah saw it myself. I'm kinda sad though that Witcher 3 won't be released this year :( I can't take the waiting anymore! RAWR!

Looking forward to 2014 so much more now. Next gen baby. Let's do this!

Every title shown in the event was disappointing except Watch Dogs which was also running on PC .
www.gamepur.com/news/10450-new-watch-dogs-demo-was-running-pc-and-not-ps4-ubisoft.html
The PS4 processor is also x86 (32 bit) and main stream Graphics card .
Bathesda : Not as huge change as it was back in 2005/2006 when current gen was out . This time it's all about sharing and staying connected .

I watched the entire show live , PS4 is not backward compatible it will play PS3 games via steaming from internet . Always online requirement during gameplay was never touched but Diablo 3 announcement for PS4 can be hint of it (Now we know why Diablo 3 was casual ).

But it was all expected . Almost every rumor was true .

CDPR were just there to examine the system . They have yet to announce the platforms for their games other than PC .

I say Killzone 3 and Deep Down (Panta Rhei Engine) were the most impressive titles we saw during the presentation.

If CDPR needed any motivation to create even better looking game then TW2.. There it is.

You mean other than Windows and Mac OSX? I expect Xbox to be supported, since Red Engine already works there.

They already said that it will be released on all next-gen platforms and the fact that Sony showed their logo on slide with their confirmed PlayStation 4 development partners only confirms that. They probably already have dev kit in studio and they are making engine PS4-ready.

And stop hating that much because you sound like old grumpy man.

Holy shit that looks cool

That's actual gameplay? I see a HUD but it doens't look like real gameplay.
I'm that guy who won that t-shirt.

Sony emphasized that PS4 architecture is like PC. Now we found out that they invited quite few PC centered devs to cooperate with making games on their platform.

I think that one of reasons behind it is preemptive strike at Steambox. ;)

There's a reason they teamed up with Blizzard after all.

Though that makes me say to Blizzard that they can go fuck themselves and I don't even hate Sony or the Playstation ( I do have a deep seated hatred for MS mind you but that's another matter ).
