I never really got into playing the Witcher 1, but I adored the Witcher 2, and I remember there being a few mentions of vampires, but I can't remember Geralt ever actually encountering any, so I'd like to see a quest in the Witcher 3 revolve around them.

Oh I tried, but the reason I didn't get into playing it was because I didn't find it fun to play, the Witcher 2 I loved obviously, oh well.

The quests in W1 are more brilliant than the ones in W2, but I think what keeps players from enjoying the first game is the strict M+K utility feature and its inherent "PC game" aesthetic.

Apologies, it just didn't come off the right way originally. And I agree with your second post as far as seeing the other Witchers. I don't want this to be Geralt's last game without seeing them one last time.

I just thought of something that I enjoyed in W2: finding the wild hunt investigator's journal in the vergen tombs. It's so easy to miss, and there is never any allusion to its existence anywhere in the game; the player just had to be aware of their environment to acquire it. I hope there are similar aspects to game play in W3.
