I have the Steam En version with a German layout. The graphic bug is a gridded shadow but only 10% of the shadows are gridded. I cant describe it better, look for your self: Behind the Elfs @ the plantsPosted Image, Posted Image. Compare for your self with ubasampling the game don't get much ugly for this gridded things as when I turn it off and the bad thing about it is that my Machine is not really made for ubasampling. But without it looks to much crap. With uba: Posted Image, Without: Posted Image.
Game is maxed out with ubasampling except for Cinematics.I try every Graphic option and turned everything off or to low and the error is also there.

The other problem is that I get to much CDT, I played 20 min in the first act. I get today 3-4 CDT after loading the game in 2-4 mins.
Also when I play the prologue I get 5-7 CDTs. Its really annoying when you must sell your stuff 4 times again and buy stuff 4 times again because the game crashes.

I only see this shadow whatever graphical bug in one other game, Arma2. Also I don't know it what the problem there is.

Rig:
MB: Asus p8z77-v le (705 bios)
CPU: Intel i5 3750k (speedstep to ghz3,8 )
RAM: 4x 8gb Corsair Vengeance cl9 @1600mhz (22gb as ramdisk)
GPU: Asus HD 7870 DC II V2 @ 1058mhz core/4916mhz vram (catalyst 13,1)
SOUND: ASUS Xonar DS2 & Teufel THX 7.1/Shure SRH 840
PSU: Enough power to burn 4x radeons ;)/>/>
OS: Win 7 Ulitimate 64bit.
Other crap: 1x 120gb Corsair Force GT SSD, 1x 150gb WD Raptor, 1x500 gb Samsung Spinpoint, 1x 1tb Seagate Barracuda, 1x noname DVD/RW

Temperatures are fine except for the stock CPU cooler who are @ max 55c°

And I apologize for my bad English.

The shadow "bug" is intended, it's not an error (unfortunately) :/

No, it's the same on Nvidia. It's just how this type of shadows works.

Indeed, one of the things that ubersampling does is supersample and smooth out the dithering effect on the shadows. As the previous poster said, it's just the way the engine handles shadows.

Wegen der CTDs: Versuch's mal ohne deutsche Untertitel. Ich meine mal gelesen zu haben, dass es daran liegen könnte.

Are you using the in-game antialiasing (because of the granular look that the textures have in your "not ubersampled" screens it seems so)?

Then try this; turn off the in-game antialiasing and then force MLAA through your graphic card drivers. The dithering effect is worsen by the sharpen filter that the ingame antialiasing applies also, textures are distorted by this filter (just take a look at Geralt's face or Letho's beard with and without antialiasing).

Nice this also looks like ubasampling without draining the fps how ubasampling it does. But I see the shadows also, not much but they are there.

Still massive CTD, second act and I get all the time CTDs. Most of the time while I browse a store or my own chest. Any ideas?
