Hope I haven't thrown a useless thread in the barrel.

Anyway, my computer to install Microsoft VC Redist Package every-time I run TW2 on steam? I can't seem to use a shortcut to activate the game either. It still plays after installing, but I doubt this is normal.

Furthermore, unless I use the steam "client" to lauch the game my computer goes through an endless cycle of installing the redist package.

What's going on here?

Thanks Tommy. I can't believe I missed this thread. My problem is even number 2 on the list . I guess the red square for the "sticky" section frightened me.
