Hi there, I'm having a problem with my installation of TW2EE.
I bought the game awhile ago and I played it for some time at ultra settings (without Ubersampling) and it ran smoothly (I would say 50-60 FPS everywhere). After a 2 hour play session, I closed the game and when I tried to re-open it later on, I would continue to give me an error (application has stopped working). After a reboot, the game would run terribly (19-20 FPS). I checked the configuration, no ubersampling, everything was set as before. When I click on "Auto-detect best settings", it automatically sets everything on low...
Do I have to reinstall the game (which would be rather unfortunate, cause I've got a slow internet connection) or is there some sort of hotfix/patch that I can apply?
As for the PC, I've got an i7 2600 at 3,4GHZ, radeon HD7870 and 8 gigs of RAM

It reads like something has happened to your GPU. Have you
- reinstalled the drivers
- checked with other games
- checked temperatures

Thank you for the answer. I checked with some other games and they all seem to run fine. I also just installed the new beta drivers. As for my issue, game seems to run fine again, even if the configuration tool still sets it on low for some reason... must have been the drivers or some other software related problem

Don't trust the auto-configuration anyway ;) It's not doing a very good job in choosing appropriate settings for a given hardware configuration.
