Looks very nice. I'm especially loving the general atmosphere; I'm a sucker for an awesome ambient soundtrack and an art direction that complements it well.

I just saw that video in HD and kept rewinding to try and catch all possible details. Honestly, the game already looks and feels and sounds AMAZING!
This is what we have been craving for: a modern approach on an isometric, party-based, turn-based, text-heavy, tactical, open ended computer RPG. Flexible problem solving, a reactive world and characters (thanks in part to not having everything voiced!), extremely tactical combat, fantastic atmosphere.
Some elements can and will probably be improved. But so far, I am extremely happy with this game. I can see a Wasteland 3 coming up in a few more years

PC does not equal Windows. Personal computers run many different operating systems, like GNU/Linux and, why not, Windows. PC games should be available for all major platforms. Let's not be handcuffed and tied to one vendor. Utilize standard, cross-platform technologies!

Looks great, thought the preacher bit might be a tad overused, but I suppose execution's everything.
I was once asked by a journalist what my thoughts were on the modern world slipping into ignorance and apathy, I told him, "I don't know and I don't fucking care!"

Ok, that looks outstanding - how was this not on my radar?! Thanks for posting. ›››
You know you can still pitch in by preordering from their website. This game is crowdfunded.

Hmm, there doesn't seem to be dialogue options. That's unfortunate. ›››
I think there are... indirectly. You can ask about certain important topics and apparently even type keywords manually. About this, I am not a fan of typing things in games when there is a chance NPC's will have no idea what to say to 90% of the things I ask them.
But I am with you. I wished dialogue were more explicit. I want to know what the rangers are asking exactly, not just them mumbling one word sentences like idiots. The way they did it though, makes it easy to add or remove conversation topics based on a character's attributes, like wisdom, intelligence or whatever else. Maybe they can find a good balance between attribute-driven dialogue trees and full sentences?
They can still change things, That is the magic of text-driven games

Looks really good, but what's happening with dialogues? I mean dialogue options are just single words? ›››
It's a keyword based system like in the original. Also here's Brother None's post from RPG Codex (he's the community manager for inXile).
"Many factors go into these kind of decisions, including considering what Wasteland 1 did and if it still works as well now (because if it does, why not use it?) The sum of it all was keywords were better. Not what I was personally expecting/hoping for either, but I'm fine with it.
One bit of reasoning inXile mentioned that I can very much so understand is that this party is much more flexible than single-PCs even in a game like Fallout. In Fallout 1 you were male/female, but you were always of around the same age and raised in the vault. The PC didn't have too much specific character but they could write keeping his background in mind. In Wasteland 2 they can not, because you can make the party you want to make, from a band of 4 Russian female boozehounds to a party of straight-and-narrow "marine"-like dudes and gals. You can't really write for that. Best you could do is keep every line as bland and devoid of character as you could. They didn't want to do that, so instead they do not force any words into your mouth and just let you talk about any subject that takes your fancy."
