While playing The Witcher 2 on the Xbox (one of the best games of 2012 imo. Great work RED. Please bring TW3 to Xbox.) I had always had this game stuck in my head where it depicts a medieval town like a medieval town. No clean streets, no nice people wanting to tell you their live's story, some people are genuinely hostile (abuse you. Not just throw themselves at you wanting to die). Busy marketplaces and so on.

The first town in TW2 had that atmosphere. When you enter the pub and that little flute and lute tune plays the atmosphere completely overshadowed everything else and you step outside and there's the market traders shouting out what they've got on special. You enter the corner of the town and it's filthy and turn a corner and there's a group of people who mock you.

Please CD Projekt RED, keep that atmosphere in TW3. I'll give you my fabled thumbs up for it. (That's not actually me but my thumbs up can be compared to that one.)

I think it's pretty much a given that that stuff will be in W3, but it's good to post a reminder :) I loved that touch with the kids following you around, and their one-liners. Really good stuff.

Also, some of the NPC conversations were hilarious, and that would be great to experience again.

Then you should really see Vizima in the first game :)/> In comparison to Flotsam, it's much bigger and the atmosphere is outstanding.

EDIT: Added another video. The quality is bad, but otherwise it's a great tour of Vizima.

It appears TW3 will be more like TW1 but with the quality of TW2 or better, so you're in luck, cause TW1 actually had a much more medieval atmosphere, more dark and filthy.

I hope that everytime you pass a certain shop or people, I won't have to hear the same conversation again and again. Really got tired of the man and woman arguing about the stew and the couple of men in the Blue Stripes discussing about pigs eyes in arses. Would have preferred them to be silent or have addiotinal simple greetings in addition to the conversations. Since this is going to be "bigger than Skyrim" I fear it will be filthy mudcraps thing all over again, since they struggled even with "a game as small" Twitcher 2.

"Let me tell you about the woman who fell from the sky..." WHY?!

The atmosphere and setting really sucked me in as well. Its very well done. Dark Souls and Mass Effect were equally effective in completely immersing me in the world.

I would love to give you "thumbs up" on your post bakalakadaka, but symbols and text confuse me (why does vote down have a "+" and vote up have "-"?). I screwed up twice in the past and had to bug moderators to fix it Posted Image.

TW1 did it right and it had a bigger world than TW2. The repetitive conversations were just horrible.

Yeah RED's got insane attention to detail. Building an engaging world and creating a solid atmosphere comes kinda naturally to them. It's pretty impressive. Consider this: People usually forget that RED has only released 2 games. Yet they've got this shit covered, I mean they get it.

It's the reason why I'm so damn excited for TW3. I've got no doubt that RED can rock my socks off if they so wish.
Tearing my hair out, trying to figure out why there aren't any non-human Witchers, or at least something equivalent to a Witcher oriented warrior.

Share your Skyrim characters here! Feel free to post pictures, tell a story, or whatever! It's all about dem adventures boios!
