NO MORE SHEATHING MY SWORD IN CUT SCENES. In Witcher 2 it was the most aggravating thing to have a cut scene where my sword had to be unsheathed every freaken time in boss fights or any fight. NO MORE! Change it where the sword stays out as I'm tired of dying after a covo and everyone else seems to have weapons ready or at least make signs usable with out weapons so I can Aard the bastards away from me

Would be nice I admit, that second fight against Renauld in the Nilfgaardian camp was brutal, and quite frankly terrifying on insane.
I have waited many years for the Incline to begin. False prophets I have followed and obscure lore perused, but always there has been nought but the bitter taste of disappointment at the end of my travails. Still I do not give up, I do not falter with weariness. Even if it should never come to pass I will still believe and search, for the Incline is beautiful and it SHOULD exist.

Actually, sheathing it is fine, just don't pull the stupid 'enemies hit you as soon as cutscene ends' BS again. For all the speed Geralt has when swinging his sword, he is SO slow at drawing the sword compared to any enemy in the game... (bounty hunters in Act 2 Iorveths path also have their swords sheathed during cutscene but they'll draw them much faster than you).

Being able to use signs with your weapons sheathed is nice and logical. but as for the sword, in each swordsmanship style, there are techniques called sword drawing slash, which unsheathing the sword and hitting the opponent done at the same time and by a single move.
how about implementing this kind of movement ?

Similar problem exists in Witcher 1 as well. Not just sheathing swords in cut scenes, but even the opposite. Like in case with the Beast, when Geralt explicitly unsheathes his sword in the cut scene itself presumably to prepare for hard fight, but the moment you take control your sword is sheathed and you need to lose time unsheathing it. Grr....

Yes absolutely, it was annoying in both TW1 and TW2.

Well said bro . when cutscene ends before drawing my weapon the enemies already keeps attacking me before I do so . When the cutscene end in The Witcher 3 both Geralt and NPCs should be at some distance and sword shouldn't be sheath .

Yeah, that was a problem but in my case there were things that bothered me more: lack of a sensible targeting mechanism, nearly useless bomb and knife aiming mechanism, inability to drink potions before certain battles (e.g., the intro to Act 2), and it takes him ages -- a full second sometimes -- to turn around and walk in the other direction.
Another thing is that I hate controlling those stupid ghost-soldiers in Act 2. Those parts are very hard in dark mode and I don't know how anyone could get through them on insane. When the playing character isn't Geralt the difficulty shouldn't increase, especially when you're controlling something as staggeringly unwieldly as those guys.

Good points all, and the one about potions is especially good. The potion system was interesting, could use a bit of streamlining I think.
