Nothing yet . I wouldn`t get my hopes up too high . The game is almost 2 years old . The one thing I didn`t try was installing the original game minus the EE content to see if the problem was with EE or not .

some users reported that they had no CTD with the original game. After updating to the EE they get the same problem as other ppl...

One more thing i found out to "trigger" the CTDs.
as the game just add saves to the save list and didn't overwrite older ones u can have a large amount of them. when i start to delete some (read as > many) in a row, the game crash in the same way while playing it...
even from the main menu it happens. i can't say it has to be an exact amount of deleted files... it just happens while doing it...
If it crash this way, it also freeze my steam.

Hi i'm DarkInside from the www.the-witcher.de website.
I have found a possible fix for the german crash problems.

I think the problems are the umlauts in the german de0.w2strings file: öüäß

I have modded the de0.w2strings with ue/ae/oe and ss. It works by me with no problems.

played 17 houres since the fix is out. no crashes \o/
