Might be best to post the body of the text into the post box. Anyway all you need is the 0->1.35 patch which you can find from the link http://en.thewitcher.com/patch1-35/ which should get the game up and running . Then not to be bothered with the game wanting to update continuously . Navigate to you witcher 2/bin folder , locate the witcher2 exe and right click and select send to desktop . When starting the game run it from the new shortcut. Yes you can download the patches to a laptop and then transfer them to the PC .
