If I could I would send to Google my personal data and preferences by myself. I will do anything to stop them from showing me another ad of feminine hygiene products on YouTube. If they are that good at gathering data about people then they should already knew that I'm not female and I don't buy those things! It seems that they are not that good at all

You can often hear the argument that "I have nothing to hide, so why should I care". The argument is flawed. @Vinterberg is right. They take as much power as you are willing to give them. And if you don't care - they take it all. And if it'll start eventually bothering you for real - it might be to late to worry.
