There are many armors, pants, gloves and shoes in the Witcher 2. But which one looks best or fits Geralt well in your opinion? Right now I'm not talking about statistics but purely the visual presentation.

The Kinslayer set scores a lot points for me because it's details really fit Geralt. At the same time though I think it's too dark for him.

The Vran armor and the Elder Blood set. As good as they are, their red and green color scheme doesn't really fit The White Wolf in my opinion.

Than there is the Armor of Ysgith, a very unique piece of equipment. It's purple-pink shirt and weird armor plates make it stick out like a sore thumb.

Lately I found an armor that I think looks pretty good and you can get it outside of Dark Mode. Zireael's armor.

It's not perfect, but I think it fits Geralt alright.

Oathbreaker, the second of Dark Mode's exclusive sets. Just so awesome, darky but not soooooo dark and I find it stylish and "witcherish" XD

I'd say the Raven Armors looks best, but it's a bit too dark for my taste though.

Well, if I'm honest the Raven one was my previous favourite until Dark Mode came out. It also looks quite nice.

I think Astrogarus' armor looks pretty classy. I also like the fact that the Kinslayer armour still shows Geralt's hair while wearing a hood. With the other armours with a hood, he might as well be bald.

I really like Draugr armor but something is missing there, probably the matching gloves pants and boots. So I'll say Kingslyers armor. All those spikes and a proper hood makes it look very intimidating, but I wish it had a color scheme of Oathbreakers armor black and yellow not my colors.


Maybe anyone know how to change this, seen some really good recolors of other armors on Nexus

Light Leather Armour, Heavy Trousers and Long Robust Gauntlets for me. Though I wish we had a toggle-able hood that we can wear when in the harsh outdoors, but is automatically pulled down during combat, I liked the aesthetics of Geralts hood.

My favourite is Blasphemer, closely followed by Oathbreaker. But I just really loved the Blasphemer. I also liked Vran armor with elder blood gauntlest/trousers/boots.

My favorite set is Oathbreaker and I think RED's opinion is the same. It's the same set that was used in 52 and a half, and that video was supposed to introduce Geralt right ?

My favorite look is Thyssen's armor. I like the interlace work, the pouch, and the bracers in particular. And it brings back a pleasant memory

I thought Vran armor was pretty badass. Like them all but the one with the Conch shells.

I think Vran Armor with Elder Blood Gauntlets, Boots and Trousers look real well together

mine is the Dearg Ruadhri. It looks really sweet, but unfortunately I don't have pics of it at the moment. I remember getting it in chapter 2 as a random loot.

(Btw, this game is a little weird with random loot.)

I kind of hope that with the release of the Redkit tool we'll get some awesome community-made armors and items. For now this is my favourite "set" for Geralt.

My favorite combination is Light Leather Armour, Elder Blood Trousers, Superb Temerian Jackboots and Kaedweni falconer's Gauntlets.

Vran armor and the armor that you found in chest inside sewers of chapter 3 when doing Mystic river quest (and find crafting pieces for Vran armor too) .
