I just got halfway trough the Act II and stumbled on a strange problem. Apparently my Quicksave isn't creating any newer save files.
Earlier in the game, whenever I pressed F5, it would create a new save file, so for example if a pressed it before a NPC conversation, and immediately after it, I would have both saves. Now when I press F5 it simply overwrites the previous file, and it's somewhat troublesome because I got used to being able go back two or three saves if I did something wrong or out of order.
I've tried deleting the oldest save files from the gamesaves folder, but it didn't work. Any solutions to this?

Saving Problems

The game keeping both quicksaves is the bug, because the correct game behavior is for quicksaves to overwrite one another so that you can only have one at at time. I suggest hitting escape and making manual saves when you want multiple ones.
I'm not here anymore, but there are still three ways to find me. First, you can go into a room with all the lights off and say my number three times while looking into a mirror. A bit macabre, admittedly. The second way would be to post a craigslist ad for anonymous sex, but don't be writing checks you can't cash, sweet stuff. Ahem. The third and most tasteful method would be to just check out my site where I review stuff because I'm a hyper-judgmental human being.

I`m pretty sure CDPR introduced the overwritng of quicksaves as a space saving feature. As one who played witcher 1 where F5 created a new save every time. It wasn`t long before you had 3 GB or more of saves for a single game. Bus as 227 suggested a manual save should solve that problem for you.
