I'm not much help, because it works for me; sorry you're having trouble with it. If the whole computer is restarting, this sounds like a power or heat problem. What hardware are you using now?

Yes I think it might be a computer related issue, check your temps and also if some other program which might be updated is now interfering with it. I run win 8 64 bit and works fine for me

Keep your eye on that power supply. Xtech is a cheap Chinese brand of power supply shaped fireworks. Power problems can upset the CPU or graphics card to the point of causing hard resets.

I think his power supply is dying. If you hear noises coming from your PC (noises that aren't normal) I'll give it 1 month with restarts and more problems and then it will stop working.I hope you will not have this issue. Also you can have problems with the video card . You should upgrade your power supply to 650 W. The same thing happened to me 3 years ago with my 550W power supply, restarts and more restarts , then it started to stop risponding after crashing and after installing 2 more giga of ram it died and also it made awful noises.

If you keep getting intermittent hard crashes, the power supply should be the first suspect. Enjoy it while it works, but keep that in mind.
