These guys definitely deserve some kind of reward, they are not only making mods as we speak but also help CDPR polish the REDkit, do the testing and QA which I bet is a fair amount of work.

gregski & the Fixer, I agree. Although I don't think every beta-tester are doing that much, surely there will be some that are doing such effort, so a reward would be nice gesture of thankfullness to them :D/>

I know the picture raises a lot of questions but I'm more excited about this part :

It depends on what the people in our modding community decide to make and on what the REDkit allows them to make.

In TW1, new quests for the main game could only be added when the player started a new game, so people didn't make new quests for the main game; new quests were made for separate adventures. The capabilities of the REDkit haven't been revealed yet, so we don't know if it's possible to add new quests in the middle of the game with that.

We got a lot of retextures, a lot of little tweaks, and ~15 adventures for TW1; it'll be interesting to see what the community comes up with for TW2.

How many people are participating in this beta? It'd be nice to know if there is a sizeable amount of people familiar with the Redkit that will get mods out shortly after release.

MM360 has already posted that the image in the picture is NOT a teaser for TW3; it's the picture of a reward to be given to the REDkit beta tester who comes up with the best content.

You can play TW1 with any character you like, using Flash's Doppler's Essence Mod.

I can't wait! I have a lot of ideas for how to improve combat, but I need to know more about the dev kit itself. I only done mods for Source in the past, so this would be an exciting refreshment. It's been a while since I last created mods. Just one very important to me question: will there be a fully functional Blender-Engine import/export addon? Not one we got now, that one only works with geometry.

I can model in Max, but I hate the program and think Blender 2.6 is just better in every possible way. It's also way more accessible.

Aditya is making a distinction between a teaser and a trailer. He's saying he hopes we get a teaser on February 5th, though a trailer would be even better.

I think the idea is that either one would be preferable to a bare announcement that the game is coming. ;)

As soon as this thing is released and new content starts to come out, I'll do my best to keep up with it and review it on my site. I'll also be looking at The Witcher's fan content soon enough. I'm excited because I haven't had a chance to play any of those older fan campaigns/mods. Additionally, I'm only one Sapkowski book away from completing my personally set goal of finishing The Witcher literature before finally playing The Witcher 2 EE. I'm soo pumped I might just do a backflip!
