Hi all, is there any way, in game or through game files, that you can tell which difficulty setting you're on? I believe I must be on either easy or normal since I get the chain attack indicator. Anyway, I ask because I started a game a few months back and would like to continue playing through it, only I can't remember which difficulty setting I chose, and if it's on easy I would prefer to restart on normal. I'm at the beginning of Chapter 2 in the dungeon, just having killed the Beast.

If memory serves if you see the flaming sword indicator then it is on easy or normal. You should see a flaming trail from the sword itself on hard. The easiest way I know to change difficulties mid game is by using this mod. http://www.moddb.com...ficulty-potions

Do you know if there are any noticeable discrepancies between easy and normal? Is there any obvious indication in game of whether or not I'm on easy or normal? I read somewhere that the on normal difficulty, the flame indicator pops up for a slightly shorter time than it does on easy. Is that true (I've booted up new games on both difficulties but can't see a difference)?

I do believe there is a shorter icon display for normal but not so much that I could tell the difference between the two.
