So, I gathered all the sephirots needed and placed them in their respective obelisks. The door to the tower should open automatically, right? Well, it didn't. When I talk with Raymond, who is right outside the tower, says that he hopes Kalkstein takes the bait. I assumed I needed to talk to Kalkstein and make him go to the tower, but all he says is that he never wants to see me again and I can't continue the dialog. I am totally stuck now, any help would be wonderful

You've placed ALL of the sephirot stones? You're completely sure? You got the last one from Raymond?

When you open the tower, you should have the option to talk to Kalkstein again and tell him that the tower is open, but since the tower isn't opening for you, of course you don't get that option.

Upload your saved game (zip it first, please!) to a place like MediaFire, post the URL here, and I'll look at your game for you.

I've made three new adventures for TW1; you can get them at corylea.com/.

I've also made a bunch of mods that fix bugs, kill annoyances or tweak gameplay; you can get those at the Witcher Nexus.

Thanks a lot! But, I don't know where my saved games are located and how do I zip files?

EDIT: Yea, I am 100% I placed all the sephirots. I even found a pic with all the obelisk locations on google and double checked just to make sure.

What operating system are you using, and is your game from a disc, from GOG, from Steam, or what? (I ask because your saved game will be in a different place, depending.)

To zip files, see here or here.

Are you using cloud saving, or are you saving on your hard drive?

If you're using cloud saving, see here and here for information.

If you're saving them on your hard drive ... Tommy? Where are TW1 saved games stored on the hard drive under Steam?

Pretty sure I'm using the hard drive. When I tried to enter my save files on my second computer through steam (properties), there was no such option. And I have never seen the game syncing after quitting.

Your save files should be in Documents>The Witcher>saves . I think the easiest way to compress or zip a file is to find the sve you want then right click ad scroll you mouse to where it says send to then select desktop then close all open windows. Locate the new save on your desktop , right click it scroll you mouse over send to and this time select compressed (zipped) folder. Windows should then make a new file on your desktop with the zipped game file.

When you said "The Witcher > Saves", I thought there was suppose to be a folder named Saves in The Witcher folder. I however only found files with an adv extension. I am going to assume that you meant those files when you said "saves". I will post the link to the zipped file soon

Guys, I found the solution. I missed an obelisk. I didn't notice it before, but it's really strange how I just recently saw a blue dot on the map that wasn't there before. I missed it during my double check and it definitely wasn't there before. Maybe a bug of some sorts?

Anyways, thanks for helping! (and sorry for utterly wasting your time)

As long as the game is working and you`re happily playing the witcher then no time was wasted.

Actually, LogiCstuff, I assumed that what I'd do if you uploaded your saved game was find out which sephirot stone you'd forgotten to place and draw you a map as to where to put it. :P So if you did that on your own, it's all good!

And, just in case you ever need to do anything with your saved games, no, those files that end in .adv are NOT your saved games; those are adventure files. You're in the wrong place if that's what you're finding; go to the Witcher folder that's under your user name.
