Hey guys, please help. Using Steam Enhanced Edition with NVidia 3D.
I have polygons jumping around the character mesh when close to the foreground in 3D. Using Nvidia's latest drivers, clean install. Have messed with all the Witcher 2 settings but whether running on low or max same problem. W2 runs amazingly well, 3d is perfect, other than this one problem. The random polygons only appear for a fraction of a second, are relatively small and are the colour of whatever polygon they form from.
It's only when the game is in 3D, when I disable 3d (Ctrl-T) it's fine in 2d (which strongly suggests its no a hardware issue as also all other games work fine in 3D). It seems like a mesh issue, with the mesh getting a little confused where it is supposed to be in 3D.
When the characters are a little further away from the foreground, they stop glitching and look completely fine. Turning the 3d depth down to 30% completely solves this problem, but than is closer to 2d than 3D!
I have tried everything I can think off, does anyone have any ideas about how I can solve this? Or does anyone else have this problem so at least I know im not alone?

Might be a problem with windows 8 and 3D drivers with the witcher 2. Yours is the 1st case i`ve heard with this particular problem. Might check the Nvidia forums to see if others are encountering this issue with other games though.

Ok fixed it, with a little of eqzitara's help.
Changed the 3D profile within Nvidia to Witcher 1 via NvidiaInspector.exe All problems are solved!
P.S. I guess 3D is a pain in the arse as it's a relatively niche market, but don't give up guys (for Witcher 3 for example). 100% all games will be played in 3D at some point, and likely VR too, so make sure your games are eternal. And, let's face it, the witcher 2 litteraly blows the mind away in 3D, it's so beautiful.
Cheers.
