Hello, in Chapter 5 of the Witcher when Shani asks for a kiss my game stops working. The screen goes black and I have a cursor that I can move around and it'll change if I apparently hover over something, but I cannot move, talk to anyone, or see anything. I have a feeling there is supposed to be a cutscene here that is just not properly loading. I have tried reinstalling the game, I have tried playing it on multiple computers, and I've looked online for a solution but nothing has helped. Please help me out here, I love this game and I really want to finish it, but this is preventing me from doing that.

Have you tried restoring from a previous save? Sometimes Witcher saved games become glitched for no apparent reason, but a saved game without the glitch works fine.

I've tried making a new save and then continuing from there, and that didn't work. I'll have to give that a shot.

A new save made off of the glitched one wouldn't work, because the new one would still have the glitch. You have to go back to a saved game from before the glitch happens.
