Vizima Confidential Problem

Alright so I'm on the Vizima Confidential quest and I'm at the part where I usually lie to Raymond about killing Ramsmeat if I remember correctly. It appears however that my quest is stuck, and the only option I have for Raymond is to rest or leave, is there some way to fix this?

It's kind of pathetic that this is the enhanced edition version of the game, apparently fully patched, and it still has a glitch that makes it so you CAN'T COMPLETE THE GAME.

The usual cause of problems at this point is that you did not proceed directly to Raymond when the boy met you and told you Raymond needed to see you. If you go off at this point and do other quests, this sequence will become broken.

Rather than whine about a game that was completed years ago, you could go back to an earlier save, or you could post your savegame on a public file server so that one of the members here could fix it for you.

I'm entitled to whine about what I want, especially when a game as great as this is missing a fix for one of the most important glitches. I understand that not every glitch and bug in a game can be found and patched, but the least they could do is try to fix all the ones that completely break the game. Even if they have to patch it again, years after completion.

I also have no earlier saves because they are all after I've broken it apparently but I'll upload my save here in a second.

I have slow upload, so this will take a bit.

Alright that's the link to my save file.

I would appreciate it if someone fixed it for me.

DragonBird, Corylea, Tommy and Dona are the mods here. Try sending one of them a PM. They should be able to help you.

Alright well I tried the oldest save and turns out it was actually before that so I'll just try to get to the same point again and hope that it doesn't break again. If it does do so again, I'll be sure to contact one of them though, thank you.

Guy, Slim, and Sikktwizted, there's a fix for this in the mods section. It's called BugFix for the Vizima Confidential Problem.

Guy and Slim, I thought you guys knew about this already?

Tommy and Dragonbird are great, and they will play people past boss fights in TW2, so if someone has trouble getting past the Kayran or the dragon, they're the people to see. As far as I know, though, I'm the only moderATOR who fixes TW1 games by hacking the quests in Djinni. There's another moddER who occasionally uses Djinni to fix someone's TW1 game: Fantasta, the author of the excellent adventure "Entrapped."
Want to be IN a computer game? I'm making one, and I want a picture of you! See here for details.

I've made three new adventures for TW1; you can get them at corylea.com/.

I've also made a bunch of mods that fix bugs, kill annoyances or tweak gameplay; you can get those at the Witcher Nexus.

I'm sorry, I missed it too. Thanks for the reminder.

You don't have to be a moderator to solve problems like this. But, gosh darn it, Corylea, you're the best at it

I tried to follow this before I posted about it actually but I was extremely tired and not feeling well so it was a pain in the royal ass to do, so I decided to just post and ask for a simpler way.
