Help me get EAX working please

Hi,

I've just purchased Witcher Enhanced edition off Steam - Version 1.5 (latest I guess). Thing is I cannot get EAX working.

OS: Windows 8 64bit
Sound card: Creative Titanium HD
Alchemy version: 1.43.26 (latest)

When I enable Witcher in Alchemy:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Witcher Enhanced Edition
Install into sub-folder: System
Buffers:6/Duration: 5/Voice count: 128/DIsable music: disabled

And launch Witcher sound is completely disabled. Launching as administrator has the same result.

I've verified that dsound.dll and dsound.ini are created in the system folder, but no dsound.log file is when I launc the game. Help!

Seems to be sensitive to the exact driver version you use; it will not work at all with some drivers.

OK, thanks, I'm doing what it says there but no luck. The thread seems kind of old too... I'm using the latest available driver from creative. I'll also log a ticket with them.
