Apart from the already mentioned Baldur's Gate, Planescape Torment, Arcanum, Knights of the Old Republic, Mass Effect, Risen, Gothic, Jade Empire, Neverwinter Nights and Fallout games or series, I would recommend the following RPGs:

- Final Fantasy 7 (all-time classic that's just been re-released in a new version)

To be honest I enjoyed Fallout 3 way more than New Vegas. Don't really understand why everyone hate it so much... Though I never played Fallout 1 or 2, so maybe that is the case?

I wouldn't say ME3 was worse than ME2, but I agree - they both were defienetly worse than ME1.

Yeah, from the gameplay perspective it was avarege. Story however... well, it wasn't about saving the world so that's a good thing. But yeah, lets call it avarege. Still there was something about this game that made me absolutely love it Probably this great fairytale-ish atmosphere. I recomend this one strongly.

What do you think about Dragons Dogma? It looks like Dark Souls i complete this game 3 times and love it! But best RPG is TW2 of course !

My first Witcher community board post! So many of my favorites have been listed already but, I'm posting anyways. I'm a big fan of turn based rpg's to be honest but, there are plenty outside of that I still love. Also, while Zelda isn't really an RPG as someone else mentioned Ocarina of Time is a fantastic game that I believe RPG fans would appreciate. So some of my favorites:
