So will there be any more dlc, some extra quests or sequences?
Or is all attention from CDPR pointed at the Cyberpunk game? So there won't be any dlc for the witcher 2 until TW3.

Doubt it. They've declared the game finished and yes, two AAA projects are in full swing at the studio. We will be getting a toolset early next year though.

Yeah im hoping there will be some amazing adventures made with the toolkit, just wondering how you can 'import' or load a custom adventure...

Yeah it doesn't seem likely that any more DLC will be coming out. Not when there's two announced games in development. Can't wait for the mod kit though. Already sketching out an idea for an epic quest! :D
Tearing my hair out, trying to figure out why there aren't any non-human Witchers, or at least something equivalent to a Witcher oriented warrior.

Share your Skyrim characters here! Feel free to post pictures, tell a story, or whatever! It's all about dem adventures boios!

I assume you know of Nexus? That's the site I go to for mods. It has a nifty application you can use to install them.

In the first witcher game, after picking "New Game" from the menu, there was a chooser:

My guess is that when the toolset is released, there will be a game patch that adds something similar to TW2's menu.
Want to be IN a computer game? I'm making one, and I want a picture of you! See here for details.

I've made three new adventures for TW1; you can get them at corylea.com/.

I've also made a bunch of mods that fix bugs, kill annoyances or tweak gameplay; you can get those at the Witcher Nexus.

... and who knows, maybe some dev-adventures, too, like it was the case for “The Witcher” :)

I've listened to Adam Kićinski interview for some business tv channel, he was mentioning something about creating a platform for people to exchange their stories created in mod tools. I think we won't see any dlc made by cd project for witcher 2. As someone said their are working on w3 and cyberpunk atm

The aforementioned developer-created adventures for the first game were created well after the launch so I don’t think it’s unreasonable to assume that they might release some for TW2, too, in time.

At least, that would be a good promotion for the mod tools. Official additional adventures would certainly lure more players back to TW2 than only the release of the tool kit.

Releasing the mod-kit is a wise move, we will keep ourselves occupied with our adventures while CDPR makes TW3 and CP2077.

A pipe dream. They haven't even fully staffed both teams yet for TW3 and Cyberpunk 2077. Plus, they already released a ton of DLC for TW2, and it was clear that stuff was waiting in the ranks because they had to release TW2 before it was finished.

It’s not like they would have to use that many people to create an adventure with a length comparable to the TW1 ones especially if they don’t create any new textures and what not. Also, TW2 was released before it was finished? What?

I should have said properly finished. Speculation, but I stand by it. After 5 runs it's plain to see how the EE content was prepped.

"Not that many" is still greater than zero. If you have two games in development and are not fully staffed on those, your freedom to assign developers to unpromised non-revenue DLC for a completed game is exactly zero. Or would you rather they delay the schedule for the new games, drive up their cost, and give up market share because of the delay? I don't think anybody here would actually want that.

I don’t really care either way.

It would be nifty if the modded adventures could be integrated into the main game.

I hope not, I seriously want them to focus on their other games.

I think it would be cool if CDPR had a contest where people can create new quests that integrate into TW2 story. Whoever wins will have their mod fully voiced and integrated into the game. It would be quite awesome.

Agreed. The development of TW3 is going to take long enough without the distraction of more DLC. Plus, the creation of the Redkit seems like a decent way to hand things over so others can create more content while CDPR focuses on TW3 and Cyberpunk. I'd say spending almost a year working on the DLC we already have is plenty.
