I'm sure it would be crazy hard/problematic but Witcher 1 with the new REDengine would be awesome.

I was thinking of this myself.

As a long time modder of Oblivion, (And now Skyrim), Map maker for starcraft, warcraft 3, and starcraft 2, I started thinking about this just the other day actually.

Once Redkit becomes widely available and all of us hardcore modders have gotten familiar with it i could see a team of dedicated and talented individuals getting together,

but to be honest like someone else said here I'd rather turn 'Blood of Elves' into it's own game via redkit.
