Hello everyone,

Recently I have been using TWArchive to extract and rename the character models (cm_prof1.mdb, cm_knight1.mdb, etc) from the main.key file in Witcher 1 to replace Gerhert as the main character. However, the character that I'd most like to play as is Siegfried, the knight you meet up with in the sewers.

Can anyone tell me Siegfried's .mdb file name? I've tried lots of them and gotten alot of different characters, but none of them are Siegfried. Or is he found in a different .key file entirely?

Of course you can always get the Dopplers essence mod which will let you play as anyone

As Tommy says, you can use the Doppler's Essence mod to play as anyone.

But if you don't want to do that, then you need to know about the Djinni Wiki! It has several pages that show all of the character models and list their file names. If you go to the Human Models page, you can see that Siegfried is spelled with a "z" in the files. He has three models: cr_zygfr1_c1g1, cr_zygfr2_c1g1, and cr_zygfr3_c1g1.

If you go to that Human Models page that I linked to, you can see which one is which, the better to choose the one you want.
