PM I'm almost at the end of Act II at the moment, and I've got alot of stuff stashed in the chest (a whole lot more than I can carry).
So I'm wondering if anyone knows if these items will be transferred to the new chest (if there is one) in Act III, or if I have to sell/use most of it before I continue?

I assume that they won't be transferred to the other chests. Need someone to confirm it though since I'm not 100% sure. Though it doesn't make much sense. Most of the game is very realistic and there's been no indication that the chests are magical and are able to phase items through vast amounts of space and time.
Again, not sure but I think you'll have to sell a lot of shit if you don't wanna lose all that loot.

Tearing my hair out, trying to figure out why there aren't any non-human Witchers, or at least something equivalent to a Witcher oriented warrior.

Chest items transfer over. I've done it many times to use crafting material in the third act.

Items will transfer from Act II to Act III as long as they're in your own chest in Act II. In Act II, you will have access to a chest on your own side of the mist, but you'll also have access to the chest on the other side of the mist for short periods. Anything you put in the chest on the "other" side will NOT be transferred.
