Well, I just played on Xbox so... More or less of 150 hours of The Witcher 2. Played and replayed, and replayed... Well, you got the figure.

Just at 330 hours for Witcher 2 not sure about Witcher 1 since I don't own it on Steam but I did have like 4 playthroughs so I'd assume close to 200 since I tend to always go for 100%.

About 300 hours for TW1 give or take.

TW2 over 600 hours ( steam tells me 460 hours but ever since I got the GoG version I have played on it and quite a lot as well ).

About 40 hours in Witcher and about 100 hours in Witcher 2.

Witcher 2 is such an amazing game, it's not even funny. The first one too obviously, but the second one improves the game design in every way, evolving all the way. Kudos to Red for that.
Tearing my hair out, trying to figure out why there aren't any non-human Witchers, or at least something equivalent to a Witcher oriented warrior.

The first Witcher is the better game. I spent over 150 hours in it.

4 runs + for TW1, so maybe close to 200 hrs. I'm on my 5th run for TW2, that plus arena and I'm sure I've easily topped 300 hrs.

+200 hours for The Witcher(2 full playthroughs and at different times several single-chapter re-plays and abandoned playthroughs).

For The Witcher 2 it's more complicated to calculate, cause I didnt keep track. It was 2 full playthroughs (but the first one was before the Enhanced Edition, so it had less hours available). I think that it would be smthg like +100 hours... Also, at least 20 hours of "Arena Mode".

Probably too many.
I was once asked by a journalist what my thoughts were on the modern world slipping into ignorance and apathy, I told him, "I don't know and I don't fucking care!"

I don't know: two times TW1, but I played it many times even after, and 4-5 times TW2, where I tried every choices except the new quest on Roche's path (because lack of time) :)

3 1/2 playthroughs would probably put me at about... 70-80hours?

How many of these threads have we had already? 50? 100? 300? There is a forum search function for a reason, you know, OP?

To be fair, people are usually really uptight when it comes to necroing old threads. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. So I guess creating a new thread is a lot safer, that way you make sure you're not getting reported by a hundred butthurt people and getting banned by the mods. I've seen it happen in other forums. Nasty business.

I never understood the aversion of so many forums to necroing. I usually do it once in a while just to piss these silly people off since they’re not able to give me a satisfactory explanation of their reason for making that rule.

Indeed. Probably at least six playthroughs of TW1, along with several partial games, and at least 5 with TW2 and another couple of partial games.

Yes. Damned if you search; damned if you don't. Moreover, search is usually useless on most forums. I don't think I've tried it here. Every forum is different. If there has been any real consistency here, I've probably missed it because of how differently various forums deal with the issue and, to my mind, there really is no "right" policy on this sort of issue.

The search function doesn't work to well in my experience.
