Hi Witcher Forums

I'm getting between 15-20 FPS per second in the game no matter what setting I play with
the lag is consistent on low-medium & high settings.

I haven't had this issue in any other game.

My rig specifications are as per below:

Windows 7 Ultimate Edition X64 Bit
AMD FX-8120 @ 4.5 GHZ
Crossfire AMD HD5850's
16GB DDR3 Ram @ 1600MHZ
Intel330 Solid State Drive

Purchased the game via Steam.

I'm about to perform a malware scan, and have already performed the beneath troubleshooting steps:
Verified my steam game cache.
Reset my bios,
Disabled crossfire.
& running the game as an administrator

I used to play this game on old laptop, a few years ago & found it worked perfectly on the high settings,

I've recovered the game saves from that laptop, and the earliest goes back to 2009 - so I'm confused as to why it runs perfectly on that, but not on this, I might download it on my mac & parralels as well to see how it performs. but obviously I prefer to play it on my main rig.

Any help would be highly appreciated, as I want to play this game, so I can finish it off ( i believe I'm about 10 minutes away from the finish in my last save, that way I can continue on with the Witcher 2 with my save carried over - which is why I bought the game again via steam as I couldn't find my original disk)
