Crash to desktop on mac

I have had quite a few glitches with this game so far, and so far I have been able to fix them. Recently after having to re-downgrade my wineskin app for The Witcher, the game will not load. It crashs to the desktop within seconds of trying to open it. There are no error messages that come up, simply a black screen like it is going to load, but then immediately goes back to the desktop. I am running this on a Mac OSX 10.6.8. I realize this game does not run well on macs, but it is all I have currently. If anybody has any simple easy to understand fixes they would be appreciated.
