I was looking at movies and media for the witcher and it turns out there was a polish movie and a few episodes of a tv show on the witcher but they got bad reviews, I am asking a few questions.
Can I listen to the reviews, are the movies and tv shows good or are they as bad as they say, and well it being in polish isn't the best?
Also are there any plans to make a movie, because with some nice good actors, and maybe a studio with lots of funding and maybe possibly in English, it won't be that bad, lots of companies will read the books and think its good, and also they are Very popular games and books, so is there a chance that another movie is to be made?

For a fan like me, it was not that bad.

the production effects are not that good, since its budget was pretty small, but it has its moments.

some songs are somewhat catchy, the swords fights are meh. but can at times be entertaining. the story is ok when its being loyal to the novels, but its terrible when it starts to butcher it.


recommend you watch it, if you are desperate for more witcher. and if so, only bother with the series.
The movie is just an abridged version of the series and not a good one at that.

Movie was horrible, tv series was borderline watchable but still far from books canon. There is no plans for any future movies or tv series.

That said, I'm hopeful that some cable company tries to cash in on Game of Thrones succes nd tries to do an adaptation. just imagine showtime making an adaptation of the first 2 books with Viggo Mortensen as Geralt.

Well, there was the info-drop by MM360 or whoever it was that CDPR will do something else with the Witcher besides video games. That is unlikely to be a movie or TV series of course, but it's *something*

If Platige and CDPR have joined forces in this production... And they had invited a larger studio to cooperate... Maybe...

In many ways Game Of Thrones is like withcer, and i am a big fan of it but a witcher tv show would be way more awesome, i think if Starz, HBO or something found the funding they would see the potential it has, it has am in-depth storyline with very well detailed characters, its very good. I think there is a chance.

I've heard they were terrible... and from what I've seen and heard, I am scared to even watch them, hey seem to live up to that bad reputation. Someone could definitely make a truly incredible movie/series out of them, with the right budget. And in Polish, of course!
