I've had a crazy idea that's been in my head for almost a year that ive been hesitant to mention because of how ridiculous it sounds, but what if Geralt's mother is Ciri from the future?

Yes i know it sounds ridiculous but that occurred to me when i saw the second flashback of geralt. Now if the island of avallach that ciri left them is indeed in another dimension, then how did geralt returned to his own dimension? the riders had left with yennefer, and left him there? one way that he managed it is that he had the elder blood and didn't know it and traveled there unconsciously.

Hm what an awesome idea. Truly insane but it might just be so insane that it ends up being true. Can't speak for its authenticity though, haven't read the books myself. Nonetheless, it's a cool idea and would be kinda mind blowing if it ends up being true

As I said. Geralt's mother is known. She was a female druid. His father was a fighter.

Yes i know, but i havent been able to read that part because it hasnt been translated into spanish. But isnt it possible that ciri went to the past and hid from the riders using a new identity? she has done that before, when she was with the rats she had taken a new identity and called herself falka.

and besides, whats to stop a princess-witcher-sorceress-bandit-gladiatrix to add druid to her resume ?

of vissena (if remember correctly) had red hair and green ayes, so what if she dyed her hair red to hide from the riders? then again i dunno if that work against their sorcery and what not.
also why did she try to hide her face from geralt when he met him? what she was afraid he would recognize her?

yes i know i'm grasping at straws here, but i still wonder how the hell he escaped from the isle of avallach?

Ciri gave away her magic. She can't use it anymore. She can travel between the worlds but she can't cast any spells anymore and Visenna can cast spells.

hmm... that's true. although if i'm not mistaken in the last novel, the lodge had told ciri that there were ways for to recover her magic. who's to say she didn't found a way?

The entire Saga of the Witcher has been translated in Spanish. But I guess is hard to find them out of Spain..
