Today is the 5 year anniversary of The Witcher series and let me tell you, it’s been an amazing journey. Each year, month, day and hour of the past 5 years has been truly extraordinary and I’m 100% certain that none of The Witcher team members would trade even one of those days away. It has also been a time of hard work and sacrifice but also a time of great satisfaction and massive achievements. We’ve managed to deliver The Witcher and The Witcher 2…

Back when we had originally started working on our first game, we never imagined that The Witcher would gain so many die-hard fans. The fact that we love what we do kept us going through the greatest obstacles, but we wouldn’t have made it without you guys – the players. I guess I just want to say thank you to each and every one of you who supported us throughout those years. Thank you!

Adam Badowski, Head of CD Projekt RED Studio

I don't remember feeling such admiration for a game company since the days of Black Isle. And even then, they never reached the level of community integration and customer satisfaction that CD Projekt has. You guys have my deepest respect and my sincere thanks. I own both witchers twice, and never think twice about recommending your games (and threatening possible pirates!)
All you need to truly conquer the world now are native Linux versions of your games :)
Congratulations from a remote corner of the world!
Facio, Voco, Ferre.

PC does not equal Windows. Personal computers run many different operating systems, like GNU/Linux and, why not, Windows. PC games should be available for all major platforms. Let's not be handcuffed and tied to one vendor. Utilize standard, cross-platform technologies!

Cheers lads for two amazing games. Though I just read that the Assassin's Creed franchise has sold 40 million units worldwide. That's fucking depressing. The Witcher games should have sold twice as much, because they're infinitely many times better than the mediocrity that is the AssCreed games. Sure they have their moments, the first one being my favourite, but no way are they better then the Witcher games.

Blah, just read an article. That's why I bring it up. Again, thanks for two amazing games. Cannot wait for you to release other masterpieces. I'm preordering the shit out of them. Cheers!
Tearing my hair out, trying to figure out why there aren't any non-human Witchers, or at least something equivalent to a Witcher oriented warrior.

Share your Skyrim characters here! Feel free to post pictures, tell a story, or whatever! It's all about dem adventures boios!

Cheers for the good times. I remember posting since 2008 on the original Witcher forums after having heard how generous CDProjekt was when they released the Enhanced Edition. I bought the game and since then I followed you guys.

If you want to grab another copy of either one of The Witcher games, head over to VG247 as they're haveing a weekend give-away where you can win codes for TW1 and TW2 on GOG.com. Even if you own both games already, what's a better way to share the love for your favorite games than gift them to someone. Good luck!:)

How to express in words? You have been able to unite links with us, the fans, because ye are concerned to treat us with respect, inside and outside the game.
You have extrapolated that respect from the free-DRM, the DLCs for free, up to this forum, not just treat us as customers or players, but as people we are and this human quality makes you UNIQUE.
Thank you very much to you for wanting to grow with us and not at our expense, for being great and generous creative professionals.
We  You, CDPR!

Congratulations CDPR and thanks for the games, the unparalleled support and making products that challenge both our minds and our preconceptions. You folk rock, cheers.
I have waited many years for the Incline to begin. False prophets I have followed and obscure lore perused, but always there has been nought but the bitter taste of disappointment at the end of my travails. Still I do not give up, I do not falter with weariness. Even if it should never come to pass I will still believe and search, for the Incline is beautiful and it SHOULD exist.

CDPR, you deserve all the love we give you, and more. Your games are shining examples of what games should be, your attention to detail and determination to get it right are models for everyone in gaming, and your treatment of your customers makes it possible for us to actually love something as large and faceless as a company.

In addition to loving the games you make, I also love the story of your own success. A tiny Polish company that was more or less unknown outside of Poland poured an enormous amount of time, energy, and heart into making their first game, and you succeeded so well that you won 100 awards for it and made the world sit up and take notice. You made your own engine for the second game and made something so splashy that people couldn't heap enough praise on it. You grew, and added a second franchise to the first, recruited from all over the world, and showed the world that although you still have a Polish heart, you now have an international scope.

It's a David-and-Goliath story, and we all cheer when the little guy takes on the big guy and wins. You aren't so little, anymore, but you started that way, and we take all the more pleasure in your success because of it.

I've been here for 4.5 of those past five years, and it's been a pleasure to watch you grow, not just in size, but in confidence and polish and respect.

Anyway, here's love right back at you, CDPR. :-* :flower:
Want to be IN a computer game? I'm making one, and I want a picture of you! See here for details.

I've made three new adventures for TW1; you can get them at corylea.com/.

I've also made a bunch of mods that fix bugs, kill annoyances or tweak gameplay; you can get those at the Witcher Nexus.

CDPR I'd like to thank you and those involved in crafting these unique Witcher games. There is nothing more amazing in the world of games where a developer can craft a splendid RPG with such respect for the gamer. While there are flaws in your games (what game doesn't have any?), you've managed to make me genuinely excited for all your games. Your DRM free stance and overall quality based model have shown me that you do care once the gamer plays your title. You are humble and dedicated to the craft of producing great RPGs. I'm looking forward to both Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077! Keep up the awesome work and you'll always have awesome fans. :D

And thanks to you fine folks at CDPR. You created something genuinely compelling and have shown other companies how to treat their fans.

Also, I think all birthday parties should involve nekkers.
