The Grey Warden is the worst character in DA:O but in regards to choices I can agree the Werewolves vs Elves choice was interesting, the best actually. So was the whole Circle situation, the Orzammar one and the Landsmeet one but to a lesser degree I think.

As for your questions:

1) Just watch when they start exploding and run like hell.

2) There isn't a change of animation for incineration just a damage over time effect on the enemies.

There are different tactics to fight bloedzuigers. Those who rely on magic more, can set them on fire with Igni, and just run away, but it's not so professional for a witcher as using a sword. With a sword the trick is not to stay around it with constant slashing, but to attack and evade right away, since sometimes it's hard to predict which blow will be critical. When it's already exploding right near you - it's too late to run. Acid will still reach you.

The fastest way to evade I found is with jumping forward (not backward). I.e. attack, then press forward twice, and Geralt will perform a forward jump, and don't stop on that but continue running forward until you gain enough distance. Then turn around and attack again if needed. Using this method you can fight several bloedzuigers at once, and when one of them explodes, it damages all others of them (mostly fatally).

The thing is obscure, and probably intended to be obscure. Words spoken by a shaman, prophet, or Source in a trance are often not meant to be interpreted by the conscious, logical mind. It is not the factual content, but the emotions, spirits, or truths conveyed by the images the words create in your mind.

That's what I also thought, but I wasn't sure still if it's a reference to some concrete incident (puppy that Abigail had?), or just a metaphoric language. It's part of the mysterious atmosphere that authors created, that these things are never explained :)

Thanks for the answers, but for some reason I do not see the effects of the new upgraded move. How do I execute the move exactly? Do I just hold the left mouse button for awhile and then release? I think I must be doing something wrong ><

What move are you referring to?

The forward evasion move is double-click W. Double-click any direction does an evasive move in that direction.

If you have acquired a fourth-level sword skill, press and hold left mouse button to charge it, then release to start it. (Fourth-level Group Steel is handy for crowd control later in the game.)

If you have acquired a sign power-up skill (Student, Apprentice, etc.), press and hold right mouse button to charge it, then release to cast it. (The power-up skills for Igni let you throw fireballs over long range.)

He's talking about the Level 4 Group Silver talent called "The Torcher."

It's as Guy says. You get a diamond lozenge that fills with pink as the skill charges; the skill is ready to use when the diamond is full. It looks like this:

Want to be IN a computer game? I'm making one, and I want a picture of you! See here for details.

I've made three new adventures for TW1; you can get them at corylea.com/.

I've also made a bunch of mods that fix bugs, kill annoyances or tweak gameplay; you can get those at the Witcher Nexus.
