I know you can clear him when you find out that he's buying the salamandra badges, but it seems you could also do it by finding hints like with everyone else.

According to the wiki im missing one : 'sponsoring shady business' , im pulling my hair trying to find this one because i like my journal to be complete.

Ive checked the Djinn but i barely know how to use it and have only managed to find out that the hint i need is hint number 1. My question is , how can i use the editor to see where is the trigger for that entry so i can test if its bugged

ive checked everywhere and talked to everyone and i cant find that clue.

It would be hard to use Djinni to find out where you get this. Journal entries are added using a small script, and that script can be attached to any line of dialogue, attached to any phase of a related quest, attached to any cutscene, attached to any relevant item, attached to any trigger on the ground ... the are a LOT of ways to call a script. You'd need to open every relevant conversation, every relevant quest, every relevant item in Djinni and search to find the script.

But which script would you be looking for? We only have the COMPILED versions of the scripts, so we can't really tell what's in them. Luckily, there's a script called q2110_h_illeg, and since the journal entry is called hint/Q2110_h_illeg , that's probably what you're looking for. But as to WHERE you should look ... that's harder.
Want to be IN a computer game? I'm making one, and I want a picture of you! See here for details.

I've made three new adventures for TW1; you can get them at corylea.com/.

I've also made a bunch of mods that fix bugs, kill annoyances or tweak gameplay; you can get those at the Witcher Nexus.
