very useful when you enter Old Vizima and have no access to your belongings. So you just jump to your cosy hut in the beautiful fields of Murky Water and equip Geralt with necessary stuff 8) who needs Dandelion?
I can see what you see not, Visions milky then eyes rot.
When you turn they will be gone, whispering their hidden song.
Then you see what cannot be, shadows move where light should be.
Out of darkness, out of mind – cast down into the Halls of the Blind…

Really, by the time you get to Act IV, you should have guessed that the hut wouldn't be much use. The game's style is all wrong for that.
A cruel joke?
* When all you have to do is reload a previous save?
* When the Wreath of Immortelles is quite obviously the odd one out - it ALONE having a dialogue question about it AND of which the hermit slyly avoids explaining exactly what it does?
A Major Bug or oversight? ???
A bug is an unintended error on the behalf of the developers. And quite clearly, this isn't an oversight either - a usable hut would just make gamers stay even longer in Act IV. And lets face it: only long-winded, gold-hoarding & weapon-collecting RPGs NEED a hut like this. The Witcher is a game which you play from start to finish. You really aren't MEANT to linger in an Act too long. Nor is it interesting to grind the areas a million times or even necessary to any degree.
Really, its just like getting to a certain chapter in a book and re-reading it hundreds of times before reading the rest. Jeez ::)
Move on already. I'm outta here. :peace:
Don't blame the dynamite if you can't light the fuse!

This is an innuendo… maybe the devs intended to fool us players with this useless hut. We can't always get wealthy and useful rewards but we also have to reckon with foul rewards ;D
I don't think to take a usable hut make the player to stay longer in the game because the location of the hut is in the back of beyond unless there is sth extra ordinary which makes it worthwhile to visit this mystery hut again and again :hmmm:

Personally, I chose the hut for Alvin. I figured... well, the boy's homeless, he has nobody to take care of him except for some guy who wanders around all day and all night killing things and fulfilling quests... he's mistrusted by the other villagers, who call him "the devil's child", he probably sleeps on the ground in the middle of the wilderness, like the Resolute Girl... why not be a responsible guardian and give the boy a home? I mean, it's the least Geralt can do, I'd think... .
But the boy wouldn't even follow me into the hut... and no dialog option to suggest to him that he now has a home, so... so much for that.
I feel bad for the boy.
The only good thing about the hut, I decided, was that the centipede repellent, I figured, was more useful than the wraith repellent.
But anyhow, I reloaded and chose the wreath instead, like I guess I was supposed to do.
