PM I want to save the troll, return his wife's head, get the raven armor schematic, and have a tongue for the Melitele's heart. Does anyone know if I can still get the tongue of the troll if I kill it after I get the armor schematic? Thanks for reply.

You can buy another troll tongue from Cedric; that way, you can return the she-troll's head and still finish "Melitele's Heart".
Or you can wait until Act II; you get the Hunter's Armor diagram during "Baltimore's Nightmare" (Iorveth's Path).
