I'm Stuck in The 9th phase, "The Peeper". I Killed all the salamandra Soldier' I took The Stone from The Mage, I Spoke with Radovid in the Mirror' But When I Went Out of The Hideout Nothing Happened, And No One was Outside the Hideout' not salamandra soldiers and the were wold wasn't there. I took everything from the corpses of the salamndra's remains And i Did everything I Should do' but still nothing happened and there wasn't any video of Geralt, sneaks and kills a salamandra. is that a bug? What should I do?

You've got the magic stone? Are you sure? The quest should update when you take the magic stone, and you should be in the phase The Magic Stone.

That little cutscene isn't all that important, but the fact that it's missing could be a sign of an important glitch. Make sure you wander around the area and look at everything, to see if it triggers. Do you get the meeting with the werewolf? If you don't, you might want to restore from a previous save and see if it works when you get to that point again.

Sometimes Witcher saved games become glitched for no apparent reason, and going back to a previous save fixes the problem.

Sometimes the game itself got glitched during installation, and you need to uninstall and reinstall the game to fix it.

So try restoring from a previous save. If that doesn't work, move your saved game to your desktop, uninstall the game, then reinstall the game, move your saved game back to the saves folder, and then try it.

thanks for help. there was no magic stone, i searched in every possible place and in all the corpses. i have only the power stone. and i didn't talk with were wolf' because no one, including him was outside the hideout. i tried to load previous save but the same happened, and i did everything you said. should i start another game?

The power stone is important, so it's probably the one they're talking about. The quest log asks for a "Magic Stone" in the phase title, which is sort of weird, since everywhere else, it's called a "power stone."

It sounds to me like what you need to do is uninstall The Witcher, then reinstall it. Do you have a disc that came in a box, or did you get it from Steam or GOG or some other digital store? If you have a digital download, make sure to verify your files before you install the game again; if the installation file got munged during download, it won't do you any good to install the same broken file, and you'll need to re-download.

I Reinstalled The Game and I did the file check and there was no problem. The same thing happened, nothing changed. Is there anything i can do? Can i fix that? I don't wanna restart the game, cause I started it's the 3rd or 4th time I'm restarted the game. Should I Uninstall the game and then redownload it (via gog.com) and re install it and then move the save to the saves folder and check again?

I'm glad you've gotten unstuck!

I apologize for forgetting about the seeing stone. But I did tell you that you hadn't gotten the Magic Stone journal update, and you said you looked for another stone and didn't find one, so I guess we share the blame on this one.

The next time you get stuck, hold down the Alt key (or turn on Show Object Names in the Options menu), so you can easily check to make sure that you've taken everything you're supposed to take.

If you just want to check once in awhile, the Alt key will do it. If you'd like to have object names turned on all the time, choose Options from the main menu, choose the Game Options tab, then check the Show Object Names box.
