I still need many different kinds of people! There are a LOT of characters in the game.

I could use a fit-looking person dressed in workout clothes, to be an instructor in the gym, or a young, casually-dressed person to be a university student, or a person of any adult age dressed in the sorts of things people wear to work, to be all kinds of folks.

I really like your default look! But then, silly and cheerful is pretty appealing.

I need for characters to illustrate different emotions though. Pandoricai did a great job on the 5 basic emotions:






And since the story will be an investigation of a mystery (something that shouldn't surprise anyone who played either of the "Medical Problems" adventures ), I hope to also have (but don't insist on) some emotions that go along with that kind of story, which Pham is kind enough to illustrate for us. (I haven't finished processing all of Pham's pictures yet.)

I'd love to have the 5 basic emotions, and if you could manage Thoughtful, Skeptical, Interested, Excited, and Amused, as well, that would be even better.

Thank you very much for the offer; that's very sweet of you. I actually like the town map the way it is; I'm after a look that's more cute than slick. The town map will be clickable, so I need to define nearly every pixel, to take the player to the librarian's house if they click here but to the gym instructor's house if they click there, and the whole thing needs to be 800 pixels by 600 pixels. But maybe I'm not imagining what you can do properly. If you want to show me something that's like what you have in mind, I'd be happy to look at it.

Since I work as a sound engineer, it'll take a while to find a suitable time to pose myself. I did read the whole article and I know of an unique hair style and some poses you guys might find funny. I'll have to ask a good friend of mine to take a pic on me in order to send them to you.

Speaking of which, I wish I could cartoon them, if it wasn't for the restriction in upgrading the Mac OS, so I'll have to go there to ask for upgrading before doing the photoshopping. I'm a professional graphic designer, ye know.

I'm NOT an artist, at least, I'm not a visual artist; some people who like my work have been kind enough to say that I'm an artist with words. I'm turning the photos into cartoons with a Photoshop filter called Toon It, which gives reasonable results to someone like me. Since I'd like the game to have a consistent style, I'm not asking my artist friends to send me cartoons of themselves but regular pictures, so that the characters they're being the avatar for will be consistent with the characters that everyone else is being the avatar for. I'm sure you could make something much cooler if you did the cartooning yourself ... but then it wouldn't match the look of the game's other characters.

Yeah, that's what everyone tell me about my multi-talent. There's a reason behind being a multi-talented person, like me. xD

For it to be similar to yours work, I'd need to see your job before trying to create mine and fix it well. Most game devs always try not only to "toon" them, but also to fix the colours or the lines in order that it can be visually visible for everyone playing it.

I have 3 questions for your game.

My game is set in the US, but the thing about the US is that people from all over the world have moved here and made this place their home. So no matter where you live now or what you look like, someone in America looks a lot like you. Plus, the game will be set in a university town, so in addition to American citizens, the game will also have some characters who are foreign students studying abroad. Really, no matter what you look like, I can use you!

Personal opinion: Judging by your answer in OP and by the looks of this game, I'd think it's a police mystery game. I really look like Solid Snake, once I'm not shaving my face.

2) Do you have voice-overs? If no, fine. If yes, I'll have to record my conversation for you, since I have the recording ability.

3) Finally, do you want someone who's a music producer, or do you already have one? I could create anything anytime.

Personal opinion: I don't know about others' idea to be paid. It's enough that you give the game for free for those who posted for you. No need for money. For me it's proof of the love for the videogames.
