I'd totally do that if I were about 9 months older :P

And she would surely do an awesome work ;)

Btw, if you need drawings, Corylea, I can try and help a little bit :) although I'm probably not as good as Gulpit and Pandoricai :)

I'll still be making the game nine months from now, when you're legal and everything, and I'll be thrilled to have you. :flower:

Yes, it takes longer to make a game than to make a baby. :P

I think perhaps she was talking about posing for photos, rather than drawing pictures.

But you're charming. :teeth:

Sure, I'd love to see what you can do.

Here are a couple of screenshots from the game, to give you a sense of how it will look:

I've made three new adventures for TW1; you can get them at corylea.com/.

I've also made a bunch of mods that fix bugs, kill annoyances or tweak gameplay; you can get those at the Witcher Nexus.

Aw, thanks, Freakie! I'm very nervous about showing off the new game at this very early stage, so your comment means a WHOLE lot to me right now. :flower:

You're quite welcome. If you ever need someone to help test parts of the game let me know! Looks like something I'd enjoy playing ;)

Thank you! :flower: I'll take you up on that, but probably not for a year or two (or three :whatthe:).

Read this post to get a sense of what I need drawings for. Look at the four pictures at the top of this page, to see some of the faces I'm using. Draw. :D And yes, then send it to my e-mail address: MedicalProblemsQuiz at gmail dot com.

Thank you for thinking about contributing!

You might want to put stumbling blocks into that email addy, crawlers are about, I'm sure.

Not taken any pics of my place yet as I think it looks shit, but maybe I'll get some energy over the next 3 years to do something about it, and then even take a picture or four.

Damn, actually, I took about 2.5 billion pictures before I moved anything in. Is there any need for a totally empty apartment? Or almost empty? Or a fireplace filled to the brink with smokebutts? :realmad: No wonder it smelled like a corpse had lain here for too long when I moved in.

I know it's early, but those peekviews look interesting. Look forward to the finished product :)

Maybe you've talked about it, but how will you actually make it? Can you write code?

I don't need those, though thanks for the offer. And geeze, aren't people supposed to CLEAN their apartments before they move out?

*smile* Thanks!

I haven't said much about what the game will be like, because I'm making a strange little hybrid game, and I don't want to give away too much about my idea until the game is near completion.

Maybe you've talked about it, but how will you actually make it?

I'm using two game engines for the game: RenPy and PyGame. RenPy is mostly used to make visual novels, though there are some pre-created add-ons that enable it to do RPG's and life simulators, plus it's infinitely extensible with Python code. A broader range of games have been made with PyGame; it's less good for dialogue than RenPy but better at some other things. RenPy allows PyGame to run within it, and both allow Python code to run within them, so if I glue the two engines together and add some extra Python code, that combo will do most of what I want.

Can you write code?

I can write a little bit of code now. I will be able to write a lot more code by the time I'm done. :D

When I was using Djinni, it used Neverwinter Nights Scripting Language, not Python. When I first started writing scripts for "Medical Problems," I copied scripts slavishly from "The Price of Neutrality" without really understanding them. After I'd done that for about a month, I copied scripts slavishly but DID understand them. After about another month, I modified copied scripts to make them closer to what I wanted. After another month, I wrote scripts from scratch. A month or so after that, I started pawing through the Djinni Function Reference, looking up new commands to see if there were any ways of doing things I wanted to do that no one else had done.

My learning of Python is following the same track so far. It'll be awhile before I get to the pawing through references in order to break new ground stage ... but I'll get there. :)

Since the game will have ~50 important characters, and I have pictures of 12 people, I still need everything!

I'm especially short of Asian faces, but I still need every race, every age, both sexes, and ALL levels of attractiveness.

Pham, your pictures look GREAT!

The emotions are clearly distinct, the lighting is good, and you've given me a couple of different possibilities for some of the more difficult emotions. (You also have a really cute face, though cute isn't necessary, since I need ugly people, too. :D)

Thank you so much!! :unworthy:

Heh, good to know I was of some use :D/>/> Good luck with the game.

EDIT: If you want some generic (so no specially for this) photos with me in a suit, I can provide some. I even have some pictures of me dancing Gangnam Style (don't ask :D) if you want them.

Yes, please! I can make you a dateable.

Thank you! :flower:

Also, I changed a few things about your picture via the magic of Photoshop. It had been like this:

And I decided that was too washed out; I thought you'd look better in a darker color. So now it's like this:

I'm not very good at Photoshop, and I only have Elements, not the full thing, but it still feels like magic to me, to be able to take out the white letters and make your shirt darker. ;)
