I just bought The Witcher Enhanced Edition on Steam (The original game)
When I try to start a new game, I get to the Kaer Morhen Exterior loading screen, but then the game crashes.
Yet, when I try to start one of the other New Adventures when I start a new game, it works.
Does anyone got a solution? I have tried to disable steam overlay, running in XP SP3 compatible mode, and so on, but it doesn't work.

Have you verified the game cache through Steam ?
Also look in C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\The Witcher\system folder for an ERR/LOG TXT file and attach to you next post if it exists . Might wanna list system specs as well .
