The hotkeys in the EE are completely unreliable. Its usually out of a roll that the hotkeys will just stop working all together. Is there a fix for this? Or do i have to select the power i want to use from the wheel, like a PEASANT?

In 2.0, setting decals to medium fixed this. Now the problem is back and hotkeys are once again a crap shoot. So peasant it is.

Actually i prefer the peasant way ... 9 times out of 10 i usually hit the wrong damn key anyway . Kinda like golf if i hit the ball and it goes left it`s a hook , if i hit the ball and it goes right it`s a slice , if i hit the ball and it goes straight it`s a miracle .

I know this is necro as fuck so feel free to lock this straight away if it's uncalled for but I didn't want to make a whole new thread. Has there been any improvements or mods that can deal with hotkey delay? I'm trying really hard to beat my previous arena record and it's god damn impossible because of the input delay. 9/10 if I've died in the arena lately, it's because I just fucking froze and couldn't do anything.

Kinda just wanted to know if there've been any updates or advancements that can help. Maybe a word from the devs or someone privy to such knowledge. I don't know. Shit sucks, man. :c

I`ve been doing the peasant way so long I had forgotten about the hotkeys .
I don`t know what resolution you`re playing at but reducing the screen resolution if possible might help .

And I tried lowering all the settings to bare minimum, didn't change anything.

Sorry about that peasant = Ctrl to bring up radial menu
Didn`t mean gameplay settings . Screen resolution 1600 x 900 , 1280 x 720 what is your video card make and model ?

I do use the ctrl menu to swap between bombs or signs. I meant like when you come out of a roll or when you just cast a sign and then try to throw a bomb or a dagger and it locks up for 2 seconds or so. There's no way proven way I've found of getting out of it or even predicting when it happens because it's not a 100% constant thing.

I've got an i3-2100, a 560, and 8GB of ram. I lowered all the visual settings including the resolution and it still happened. Ran like butter at 60fps compared to the usual 40-45 but it still locked up in those random scenarios like before. I don't get it.

That`s been there since 2.0 and before the EE came out . Most of us just give an extra roll to get a little farther away for it to cool down a little to be able to use the bombs .

Ah...so it's not something that can be fixed, then? That's disappointing. It's really detrimental to fluid game play and has seriously fucked up a lot of potential record breaks for me. :l
I was kinda hoping there'd be a fix in the works or something.
