So I've been playing Risen 2 and while it's very fun it's also well your typical Piranha Bytes such bugs, animations, bad writing, terribly optimized and all that. I would like to see CDPR make their own pirate sandbox style rpg. A lot of islands to explore and ship battles and have some influence from Sid Miere's Pirates, Wind Waker and Skies of Arcadia but in a mature setting. I want to see a dark Pirate story that doesn't rely on monsters like the Kraken or titans like Mara. The way Witcher handles monsters is great it's part of the background while having more mature themes in the foreground.

Something totally different. Like a mesopotamian themed RPG.

Or Middle-Eastern one in general. Our history is cool and full of excitement, sadly understudied.

Hm. That... might be interesting.
I've certainly never seen one based on Mesopotamia, anyway.

Pirates could be cool, although anything open and sandbox with CDPR's storytelling and atmosphere could be amazing.

Maybe one of the more obscure but interesting mythologies.

One of my favorite action/adventure games is Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy imagine CDPR working on an Ancient Eygptian rpg. Mummies, gods and all that.

Or one set in the medieval era. I am tired of medieval Europe.

It would be awesome to see something similar to Planescape, some alien dimension where things like laws of physics works different than in normal worlds. Or some hybrid of sci-fi and fantasy like "Pan Lodowego Ogrodu" (Master Of The Ice Garden). Or hell rpg where you are traveling through different dimensions meeting people from different ages and settings on some alien worlds(like in... witcher series).

I want a 70s disco vampire story.

"You're a groovy sort of cat, and it'd be far out if you let me suck your blood. Don't worry, it ain't lethal. You'll be stayin alive, stayin alive."
I'm not here anymore, but there are still three ways to find me. First, you can go into a room with all the lights off and say my number three times while looking into a mirror. A bit macabre, admittedly. The second way would be to post a craigslist ad for anonymous sex, but don't be writing checks you can't cash, sweet stuff. Ahem. The third and most tasteful method would be to just check out my site where I review stuff because I'm a hyper-judgmental human being.

I said it earlier in some different thread, but I would love to see some setting similar to that of Cowboy Bebop. Sci-fi where humanity is advanced to the point, that they can colonize Venus, Mars and various moons and asteroids, have fast space ships, but are still only in our solar system.

Be a bounty hunter or detective or someone not so important with my own ship and crew, that could be picked up along the journey of the game...that would be my dream RPG.

Slavic pre-Christian age. That would be a blast.

Alternatively, some speampunk-victorian setting or hellenistic era. Wouldn't mind also something based on ancient Mesopotamia or Assyria.

Yeah, but I alredy wrote it in these forums before too :)

And I wouldnt be so hot for space combat. Maybe a few short sequences in game, but I am not into space ship battles that much. But I am all for some space walk. With proper vacuum sound effects.

Geralt... in space.

Just kidding.

I'd like to see a stealth game set somewhere in the first or second World War.
