greetings!
i'll soon finish act IV i think (or not, i tend to read very slight spoilers) - i'm at the end of the main quests, need to present the poem to alina and pour the blood of the lady on the dagon altar.
i've done all the sidequests.
my current level is 43 and i need a quarter for 44, so i'll probably reach 44 soon (and maybe a half level).
my question is: will it be possible to reach level 50 at the end of the game at my current stance?
(by the way when i've started act IV my level was 34)

I don't know the answer to this question, but here's the answer to a related question, which may tell you some of what you want to know: You'll be at a high enough level to handle everything the game throws at you in Chapter 5 if you continue on from where you are; you needn't worry about leveling in order to be able to handle the stuff to come.

I do not think there is sufficient XP in the remainder of the game to reach 50 without heavy grinding. If you're about 43-3/4, that's something close to 296,000 XP. A lot of grinding. In Act V, the Swamp Cemetery and the area near Kalkstein's house are best.

i suspect it - the game feels quite easy right now with that level. i just want to squeeze everything out of the game i can. that's my method with rpgs. when i kill a monster i'm always bring back the skinnable items to a vendor, that's why i have more then 60000 gold right now. so that's why i'm doing this. to hear all the dialogs, to reach the highest levels, to read all the journal entries, even to see at least one time the full day-night cycle without passing even a hour, grab all the flowers/plants... so to experience the whole game with its tiny bits. but thank you for the info.

well i've described my method of playing the game. so it can be seen as grinding because i don't pass hour when i don't have to - instead i roam the map and if i see a monster/enemy, i kill it. and of course i regulary visit locations - for example if i advance in main quests, before stepping on the next tile of the plot, i revisit every location i can. i think i have near a million xp right now. can't tell the exact number right now.

i forgot to post that i've ended act IV at level 46 (almost first quarter) and with 80000 gold. so i think i'll reach level 50 in the end.

What's the point of having level 50???
I'm starting the Chapter IV with level 23, I think... and I'm pretty strong, I can beat almost every enemy I see.
Is there a price starting TW2 with this save, maybe, if I reach level 50?

By the way, if I'm on level 23 (I'm not sure if this is my level, because I don't see that very much)... can I advanced to a level 40 something on this chapter (and maybe to 50 until the end of the game?).

No prize; the biggest advantage you'll get from your imported save is having Raven's Armor and Moon Blade. I've always finished about level 37 or 38. Making more levels involves an atrocious amount of grinding, but there are plenty of respawning monsters to grind in both Act IV and Act V.

But just to expand and clarify what Guy already said, you don't NEED to grind. You can raise your level enough to beat all of the monsters the game throws at you just by doing all of the quests. Nothing special happens if you get to level 50, and unless you ENJOY grinding (some people do, but I'm not one of them), there's no reason to do it.

Your level is not imported into TW2; what's imported are a just a few choices and the armor and weapon you finish the game with.

Why is Level 50 even possible, then? This game is for a lot of different kinds of players. Some play for story, some for combat, some for the feeling of achievement they get for reaching the level cap. So there needs to be a hard-to-obtain level for those folks, but it's only there for those who like that sort of thing; you can see everything interesting or valuable that TW1 has to offer and still finish the game at level 30-something.

Oh, OK. So I don't need to worry. I only "grind" when the game has a "impossible enemy"... like those on Final Fantasy VII, for example. So I think I'm fine by the moment.

I'll try to concentrate then on a great weapon and a great armor for TW2.

Weapon: the best is that you forge with three yellow runes?

Armor: I bought the 5.000 orens one... is there any better?

The best armor and weapons are things you can't buy or forge; they're given to you as quest rewards. In Chapter 4, you'll hear about a legendary armor and will begin a quest to obtain it. (The quest doesn't finish until Chapter 5, so don't worry if it's not done by the time Chapter 4 ends. But do everything you can in Chapter 4, because you can't go back to that place, and some of the armor-quest tasks can only be done in that location.) And if you play your cards right, you can get a great weapon near the end of Chapter 4, given to you in one of the most moving cutscenes in the game.
