For the life of me, I can't seem to find this guy anymore for the Poker Face quest. I've recently started playing again after the Enhanced Edition update, but the guy is no where to be seen. He's supposed to be the barber shop guy, right? But I can't find him in his shop anymore, nor can I seem to find his icon on the mini-map day or night. Don't know if this is a bug or he's been moved?

Since this is about TW2, I'm moving this from the TW1 section to the TW2 section.
Want to be IN a computer game? I'm making one, and I want a picture of you! See here for details.

I've made three new adventures for TW1; you can get them at corylea.com/.

I've also made a bunch of mods that fix bugs, kill annoyances or tweak gameplay; you can get those at the Witcher Nexus.

Yeah. This does appear to be a bug.

I've had the Quest selected as the current task in my journal and the character is not displayed on the HUD minimap. I've also then found the dwarf roaming around the town in a continuous unbreaking circuit and followed him around in a loop with no option to talk to him ever being displayed at all.

I don't understand why this quest is broken at this point - but it is. Oh well. Gonna have to continue without finishing this one, I guess.

Strange, i played through this point 3 times in EE but never got into this bug, however it's true that that dwarf tends to wander around town in EE much more than in normal version, i remember running like a maniac around to find him, lol.

He's at his shop during business hours, every time I checked, even after the two men who give you the mutagen move in. He goes walkabout after closing his shop. Are you sure you're not trying to play poker with him after hours?

All desire to shirk,
Shall during off hours exhibit his powers

There's quite a few people reporting it, and I managed to get it to fail (at 10.00 am), but I'm still not sure of the circumstances that cause it to fail. What I found was that he was there, walking around the block as expected, but there was no name-tag or "Talk" option.

The way that I found always worked was to avoid speaking to him, or going into the bookstore, or talking to the two mutagen guys, until I was ready to do the dice game.
