Okay iI dont have any trouble cutting off the tenticals but once it sweeps me into the air i fall off everytime n cant complete the quest, what am i missing anyone ?

There are three QTE's to the tentacle ride. First, right-mouse to get on the tentacle. Second, repeat left-mouse to stab at the tentacle until the bar is filled. Third, space to dismount. You may need to press and hold space for a second to be sure it registers. If all else fails, disable "difficult QTEs"; that takes away the need for the first and last one (you still have to stab the tentacle to fill the bar).

i have the 360 version, and always fell off during the last qte. (it goes X, then A, the C, albeit very briefly) i always screwed up the timing of it, mainly because its like "delayed".

still, was able to kill it w/o completeting the QTE strain, subsequently.

Ok I tried everything about 60 times altogether and gave up n downloaded a save game file, but thanks for the help

follow the direction of the kayran tenticle with your mouse when on it

before updating to enhanced version I was able to complete kayran, but now with enhanced edition im stuck at the QTE's...and I've turned diffculty to easy, disabled difficult QTE's and tried with keyboard and then with xbox controller, but it still throws me off though QTE bar is filled before halfway of the tentacle ride any help here? and I dont want someones save coz im continuing from TW1

If you post a savegame (use a mediafire account or something like that, and upload the autosave from where Sile summons the kayran), there will be no shortage of volunteers willing to play it through and give you back the savegame with the Kayran blown to smithereens.

Also, this would help others determine whether this problem is general in the EE, something caused by your savegame, or something local to your computer. The more we know about a possible bug, the more likely either CDPR or the community will be able to come up with a workaround or a fix for it.

sorry for my hasty reply back there...after searching couple more topics abt kayran I found solution which was to use windowed mode and 1280x720 resolution so something to do with video card or something..and I thought that my PC was avarage as its only half years old

The savegame seems to be in the middle of Flotsam. I think you may have uploaded the wrong one?

I seem to be having the same problem as Dustypoot. I was able to get past the QTE bug before by lowering my resolution and not playing full screen, but since EE came out even that won’t work. Is anyone with a better rig willing to do the same service as dragonbird for me? I spent 5 hours on this yesterday with no luck

I put the auto save of the start of the fight on drop box, it should work no problem.

Hi Guys
I have the same problem Kayran keep throwing me off despite QTE is completely filled.Not able to reach at that point where I can press SPACE.I am on DARK difficulty and using 3 potions.I had not used a single TALENT by now and not intend to do so.So any volunteer can pass this quest for me(without using talents).Here is my game save file.
I tried 10 times and still failed to pass that QTE.
