Well, got mine working, again thanks to szymon08 for the file list, i was able to work out which file was corrupted, took me a while, but managed to download the files and get my install working.

I know it's really frustrating to have issues like this, but in the end this is some free updated content, and I can't thank cdprojekt for this enough, I hope you sort out the issues soon for others.

TW2EE_Patch-13.bin has the old checksum cce83e4c9750a7cea4171a6a2c4ec921. I tried downloading this numerous times, I believe as stated the checksum should be fed6e2e10fc599b2853a4e314ee29686 thus I continue to get the errors, any other possible mirrors for this file with the right checksum?

I had similar issues then the game installed after sorting the faulty patches out. The EE version is uperb, thus I suggest to those who are still having trouble, to perseverve, as the game is worth it IMHO Peace

Well, lets look at all the bin files to this patch. I play the game on windows 7
This is one or a series of files that have been compressed down into a multi-part files. Normally when one does things similarly in say for example winzip or Winrar, every single file is fhe exact same size except for the last file in the chain. However, in my case TW2EE_Patch-1.bin is 291,485 Kb and TW2EE_Patch-35.bin, the final file is 201,010 Kb. All the others are 292,969 Kb. It stands to reason that TW2EE_Patch-1.bin is definately the corrupt file. Also in my own case manually redownloading this part rendrs the same size overand over and therefore the patch fails. I will also try the suggestion to try to mov the files in the patch as described in the lonked to post

All files except TW2EE_Patch-1.bin were released before the launch date. TW2EE_Patch-1.bin was released on the launch date. That, and not a corruption, is the reason for the different file size.

Most of the issues in this thread were related to the initial few days of the update, and I was under the impression that they'd been resolved a long time ago. What errors are you getting?

TBH, I have given up the patching like this, just register your CD key for the The old Witcher 2 (& works for the Witcher 1) on gog.com and there is digital backup with bonus digital content whcih you download direct to any PC, I use this method for everything now sas I am lost at the amount of patching, there are new patches for the games (3.1, 3.2 etc) but this digital copy is always up to date....

It leaves a digital backup of both Games on GOG.com with bonus digital content and is well uself:)

Not likely . If you use the GOG downloader you can start and stop the download whenever you please . Honestly though if i were you i would let it start downloading just before going to bed and let it download while you`re sleeping .
