Can anyone still hear me? I’m typing through this tiny hole in the piles of Kickstarters, to try to tell you that there’s another one for a sequel to Shadowrun. Wait, no, sorry Jane Jensen, I’m trying to talk about Jordan Weisman’s project. No, Al Lowe, I’m talking to you later tonight. Come on guys, get back in line.

Link, for those of you interested.

If you see a grammar mistake in my post, then I don't mind if you send me a notice about it via PM. I always want to improve my English grammar.

What's next? Kickstarter for HD Pong?
Facio, Voco, Ferre.

PC does not equal Windows. Personal computers run many different operating systems, like GNU/Linux and, why not, Windows. PC games should be available for all major platforms. Let's not be handcuffed and tied to one vendor. Utilize standard, cross-platform technologies!

Well, this approach might actually be a good thing. Lots of great developers from the past ended out of business when the industry went corporate, ppl that put pc gaming on the map in the first place. Ppl who probably dreamed of gaming developing into something slightly different from what it has become. I think pc gamers know a thing or two about that feeling ;)

Kickstarters may backfire and bite us in the arse or open completely new niche market.

Anyways, as much as I'd like to aid Shadowrun devs, I am done supporting indies for now. I paid shitloadz of moneyz for the Banner Saga and Wasteland 2. I also pre-ordered Age of Decadence. My gaming budget is out for 2-3 months.

Yesss they should but I think there's a copyright problem, Terminal Reality sold it's rights to the game publisher. For example Bloodrayne (from the Bloodrayne games) was originally Svetlana, the damphir who appears in Nocturne, but the publisher wouldn't let them use any character from that game so they opted to turn her into this redhead half-vampire, they also changed Roosevelt's Spookhouse secret service into Brimstone Society, etc. Besides, TR is more into Star Wars and Ghostbusters games nowadays
;)

Update: The game will be released in june. The Berlin campaign will be DLC and you'll not be able to download community created maps or any DLC other than the Berlin campaign(only if you're a backer) with the DRM-Free version.
