If this is really the last DLC for ME3, a lot of IT's are gonna be pissed.

Can't wait for the shit storm.

Oh it's already begun.

The tears...they are delicious.

With regards to the DLC what I'm looking forward to is having Wrex as a squad mate once more and blasting away idiots in my path.

Give me Zaeed and Wrex in the same squad and I'll be screaming in joy while spitting at the stupidity that will come from the main enemy.

Where? Show me the tears!

I honestly haven't bought a single DLC for ME3 except 'From Ashes' which I got with the CE. I usually just watch an LP because I can't be bothered to play the game again.

Ugh. Fuck all this Downloadable Crap. Put it in the game, make a proper expansion, or don't bother. All this BS with microtransaction, pay to win, DLC and whatever other ways they find to squeeze money out of gamers is killing the whole damn integrity of games. It's just like the pop music industry. Pump out enough generic crap and some of it will sell. Then copy that until it stops selling. Repeat. It's all about money and all else matters not a jot. Including the quality of the crap they put out.

The sooner Bioware dies, the better.

Except that Bioware isn't responsible for the fact that we have DLC.

No, but they keep putting out crap games and crap DLC, so if they somehow went bust, it would be a gain.

Maybe the people who work there now would then be able to make good games, with creativity and enjoyment.

Have fun. You need to make an account to see it though. It's quite hilarious to see them struggle and squirm while desperately grasping at straws to keep up the illusion that BioWare knows what the fuck they're doing with the Mass Effect franchise. They seriously are dedicated to BioWare's crap.

For the most part IT was/is just a desperate hope for a "get out of bad endings free card". There is a vocal minority of ITers who seriously buy into that bullshit and use it as apologetics for hack writing though.

This is still our go-to thread for EA-hate, I assume?

I don't know if there are still distinct ITers there.

I was an ITer in the sense that the only thing that could salvage this mess was saying that Shepard was indoctrinated. It's still crap but better than what we have.

However it became painful obvious to me that indoctrination is not what bioware had in mind, but only idiotic writing. The other ITer group believes otherwise to comfort themselves and have to avoid saying that bioware writing sucks ass.

Love EA's PR speak, it's like they're trying to hypnotize you."You will believe, you will believe, you will believe..."

Is there a way to shoot this out of existence? The only reason EA is being encouraged to do this is because of people who keep buying games with those stipulations. Imagine if this becomes a norm in most PC games, good God.

If they really mean it about "every game", and I suspect they do, I really mean it when I say I want them to go bankrupt and get forced to sell off their IP.

IT always looks like when a company is trying stuff like this they aren't too long away from bankruptcy. When THQ lost so much money from Homefront and the uDraw tablet they went DLC mad (which caused me to stop buying their games) hoping everyone would buy it along with the game. Then people didn't and they tried to go even more insane with the South Park game but they went out of business before that came out. If EA doesn't manage to do a complete 180 financially I wouldn't say they have much longer if they try pulling more stuff like this.

I endorse this message (since I can't give you +1).

Crap like this (and the poor writing) is why I want EA and Bioware to stop being around.

I just hope this is a bad moment in the history of gaming, and not a sign of what is to come.

I'm pulling the little weight I can, by not buying their crap and buying good stuff instead (like TW games). But "voting with the wallet" only matters if hundreds of thousands (even millions) of people do it, and it's pretty darn clear (from how well their crummy filth sells) that not nearly enough people do that.

What about the puzzle theory? Could that save things?
